I am a "bruised rose".  I made the mistake of believing love and care could mend someone's anger and pain.  It wasn't until my early 40's that I realized that only God could help these men and that was only when they wanted Him to.  There has been violence, both physical and mental abuse, in my life by someone I loved.  The pain lives a long time after the wounds heal physically. In my case only God could mend those wounds to total healing.  Only God could restore self-worth, trust and hope to the dead thing I had become. That is why when God called me to serve Him, He blessed me with a ministry called "The Bruised Rose".  God loves all of His children, I believe it, I will always witness to it, and hold it to the center of my calling.  I remain faithful that doors will open as long as I am in His service to help other women out of their pain and into HIS light.  Run to the light my beloved sisters.
